JSAE2009 – Day 0.2 From Thailand with love

There were lots of from friends and family at the Suvanabhumi airport check-in desks. Asst.Prof. Surapont Toomnark, representing the Faculty of Engineering of KMUTT was there to show his support for the team too. We really appreciate everybody who was there that night. You all created a great atmosphere.

Off we went, on the comfortable wings of Thai Airways International.

JSAE2009 – Day 0.1 Every journey begins with a first step

The wait is over. The preparation is behind us. The bags are packed. The car is waiting in Japan. The time has come.

KMUTT racing team – OPTIMUM – is ready to embark on a new adventure, to represent Thailand at the Japan Society of Automotive Engineering (JSAE) Student Formula 2009 competition.

Twelve team members gathered up at the statue of King Mongkut before setting off. May his majesty give us blessings and we shall return with pride and prizes.

Flapping angle MATLAB m-file

Each group must study the flapping stability of a wind turbine blade by analysing the parameter such as the wind speed and the blade natural frequency. A bifurcation diagram should be produced by the end of the project and critical events must be pointed out. The types of steady states we expect to see are stable fixed point, limit cycle oscillations, and divergence.

The coursework is to be submitted by 5PM of Friday 16 October 2009.
